James M. Cracchiolo

Jim Cracchiolo has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ameriprise Financial since September 2005, when the company, American Express Financial Corporation, completed its spin-off from American Express Company. Mr. Cracchiolo has 34 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to his current role, he held a number of senior-level positions at American Express, including chairman and chief executive and president and chief executive officer of American Express Financial Corporation (2000-2005), and group president, global financial services of American Express (2000-2005). He served as chairman of American Express Bank Ltd. (2000 – 2005) and served as president and chief executive officer of Travel Related Services International (1998 – 2003). Mr. Cracchiolo joined American Express in 1982. He is an advisor to the March of Dimes and is a member of Business Roundtable and The Financial Services Roundtable. Mr. Cracchiolo holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and economics and a master’s of business administration degree in finance, both from New York University. He also holds a Certified Public Accountant designation in New York State and is certified as a General Securities Representative and General Securities Principal in the United States.

Walter S. Berman

Walter Berman is responsible for generating measurable improvements to our firm's shareholder value through initiatives that mitigate operational and strategic risk, free up capital, maximize the balance sheet and effectively manage the firm's tax rate. Berman provides the financial community and shareholders with a thorough understanding of Ameriprise Financial business and helps ensure the integrity of data and reporting.

Berman joined American Express, the former parent company of Ameriprise Financial, in 1965 and served until 1996 in various positions, including Senior Vice President and Treasurer of American Express Travel Related Services (TRS), Chief Financial Officer of American Express International, Chief Financial Officer of TRS and American Express treasurer.

He left the company in 1996 and held senior financial positions at other major companies, including Treasurer of IBM. He returned to the company in 2001.

Berman serves on the Threadneedle Investments Board of Directors and is a member of the CFO Roundtable.

He earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Brooklyn College.

Kelli A. Hunter

Kelli Hunter joined Ameriprise Financial in June 2005. Hunter develops enterprise-wide learning strategy and performance management and succession planning processes that align with the company's strategic objectives.

Prior to joining Ameriprise, Hunter was senior vice president – Global Human Capital, for Crown Castle International Corporation in Houston. Hunter also held a variety of senior level roles in human resources for Software Spectrum, Inc., Mary Kay, Inc., where she gained experienced working with a large franchise sales organization, as well as Morgan Stanley and Bankers Trust New York Corporation.

Hunter holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of New Hampshire.

Randy Kupper

Randy Kupper (pronounced Coop´er) is Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Ameriprise Financial, Inc. He leads the technology organization and reports to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

Having joined the company as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Applications and Engagement in November 2008, Kupper was responsible for applications development and executive partner engagement to support the business agenda until his promotion to CIO in 2012. Today, he leverages the technology organization so that the firm can acquire and serve clients, facilitate growth, create competitive advantage and achieve best-in-class economics.

Before joining Ameriprise Financial, Kupper was SVP in the technologies organization of American Express Company. There he supported the largest American Express business unit, Global Consumer and Small Business Card Issuing. His responsibilities included the company’s website, worldwide card authorizations system, service delivery unit, risk management and banking operations. He led more than 4,700 employees and outsourced personnel.

Kupper also held several other executive leadership roles in information technology within the financial services industry, including those at Lehman Brothers, the former investment banking and equities trading firm; and Interval International, Inc., a leading vacation ownership exchange company.

He holds a master's degree in business administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a bachelor's degree in business administration with specializations in accounting and computer science from the University of Wisconsin - Stout.

Neal Maglaque

Neal Maglaque is President, Advice & Wealth Management Business Development and Chief Operating Officer.

Maglaque is responsible for driving strategic growth for Advice & Wealth Management. Key areas of focus include growth through experienced advisor recruiting, development of the Ameriprise Advisor Center, Risk Mitigation and leadership of opportunities to expand our advisor business internationally.

Maglaque joined Ameriprise Financial in 2005 as senior vice president of finance. Prior to joining Ameriprise Maglaque held several positions at American Express, including senior vice president for strategic planning and business development; senior vice president overseeing consumer card and financial services in Germany and Austria; and vice president for finance in the consumer card business. Prior to American Express, Maglaque held a series of positions in Citibank’s card business in New York and Frankfurt, Germany.

Maglaque earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University and a Masters of Business Administration from New York University. He is fluent in French and German.

Deirdre D. McGraw

The Ameriprise Marketing, Communications and Community Relations teams help promote and protect the Ameriprise Financial brand and reputation, and ensure that consistent and effective messages are delivered to our advisors, employees, clients and external stakeholders.

Deirdre and her teams are responsible for brand management, advertising, marketing programs, client communications and digital and interactive marketing. She also leads internal communications to employees and advisors, meeting management and public communications. Deirdre and her team are also responsible for the company's community relations and philanthropic programs as well as state government affairs.

Deirdre brings more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience in financial services. McGraw joined Ameriprise Financial in 2000 as a member of the Chairman and CEO's office working on enterprise-wide initiatives, business planning, organizational effectiveness and Chairman's communications. Before joining Ameriprise Financial, McGraw held leadership positions at American Express in Global Financial Services, Travel Related Services International and Establishment Services.

She has a bachelor's degree in American studies from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa., and she is a member of the Dean's Advisory Council for the Lehigh University School of Business.

Colin Moore

Colin Moore

In his role as Global Chief Investment Officer, Colin Moore leads the investment organizations at both Columbia Management and Threadneedle Investments with more than $455 billion in assets under management1. His responsibilities include managing our disciplined investment processes across all asset classes, including equity, fixed income, asset allocation, alternative investments and cash.

Mr. Moore is a recognized market expert and popular industry spokesperson with a talent for translating complex financial concepts into clear, compelling stories for a variety of investor audiences.

Mr. Moore joined the firm2 in 2002 as head of equity and was also head of fixed income and liquidity strategies from 2009 to 2010. He has been a member of the investment community since 1983.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Moore was chief investment officer of global and international value equities and associate director of research at Putnam Investments. He was also director of research and chief investment officer for Rockefeller & Co. in New York and London. Throughout his career in the investment industry, he has held portfolio management positions with three London-based asset management firms, as well as a role in product development.

Mr. Moore attended the London Business School where he completed its Investment Management Program and he is an associate by examination of the Institute of Investment Management and Research.

Pat O’Connell

Pat O’Connell Pat O’Connell, Executive Vice President of the Ameriprise Advisor Group, is responsible for the overall leadership of employee advisors in the United States. He frequently speaks at company and consumer events, discussing financial planning topics such as retirement, protection planning, cash management and investments.

O’Connell has over 20 years of experience in the financial planning and advice business. He began his career with Ameriprise Financial as a financial advisor before moving into increasingly senior leadership positions within the company. He served as a field vice president in both Delaware and the Philadelphia area, and later as a group vice president for the Northeast region. In 2009, O’Connell was promoted to senior vice president for the employee advisor business in the eastern half of the United States, and he assumed his current role in February 2013.

O’Connell is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional, Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM and a Chartered Financial Consultant®. He earned his M.B.A. and B.S. from Widener University.

Joseph E. Sweeney

Joseph (Joe) Sweeney's overall responsibility includes the company's brokerage, managed products, retail retirement products, consumer banking, personal trust, information management, service delivery and home & auto insurance areas. In 2005, he led the operations effort for the transition of Ameriprise to an independent, publicly traded company.

Sweeney joined American Express, former parent company of Ameriprise Financial, in 1983 and has served in a number of senior leadership positions across the firm, including:

He earned a bachelor of arts degree, magna cum laude, in economics from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, N.H., where he also is a member of the board of trustees.

William F. Truscott

Ted Truscott, CEO — Global Asset Management, leads the Columbia Management and Threadneedle Investments organizations. He is responsible for managing the firm's retail, institutional and owned asset portfolios, including the Columbia and Threadneedle families of mutual funds, collective funds, institutional and retail separate accounts, and alternative investments.

Based in Boston, Columbia Management has investment operations in key U.S. locations, including Minneapolis, New York, Chicago, Portland, Oregon and Menlo Park, California. Threadneedle Investments, headquartered in London, is an international investment manager with a presence in 17 countries across the globe.

Before joining the company in August 2001, Truscott was chief investment officer with Zurich Scudder Investments, Americas, and managing director — Zurich Scudder Investments. Truscott joined Scudder, Stevens & Clark in 1992 as a portfolio manager and equity research analyst, focusing on Latin American countries and securities.

Prior to Scudder, Truscott was with Chemical Bank from 1983 to 1992, first as a credit analyst and banking officer covering Asian banks and corporations at Chemical Bank. Later, Truscott joined Chemical's LDC Structured Finance Group, concentrating on the creation and management of Chemical's debt/equity swap portfolio in Latin America.

Truscott serves on several boards across the Columbia, Threadneedle and Ameriprise businesses. In addition, he is on the Board of Governors of Investment Company Institute (ICI) and a member of the Board of Trustees for Middlebury College.

Truscott earned a bachelor's degree in East Asian studies from Middlebury College and a master's of business administration in Finance from New York University, Stern School of Business.

Bill Williams

Executive Vice President, Ameriprise Franchise Group
Bill Williams Mr. Williams, Executive Vice President, Ameriprise Franchise Group, leads the independent advisor business for Ameriprise Financial and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team at the firm. Williams is a frequent speaker and contributor at industry events sharing insights on consumer and industry topics related to financial planning, leadership and strategic planning. He is also a spokesman for the firm, having appeared in publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Financial Planning Magazine, and The Financial Times.

Williams joined Ameriprise in 1989 as an advisor and was named to the President’s Advisory Council (PAC) in his first year with the firm. In addition to building a successful practice, Williams has held a number of management roles within Ameriprise before assuming his current position.

Williams is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional and a graduate of Bentley University with a BA in Finance. He maintains his Minnesota Life and Health insurance licenses, and FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 registrations.

Williams lives in Minnesota with his wife and four daughters.

John R. Woerner

John Woerner is President, Insurance & Annuities and Chief Strategy Officer for Ameriprise Financial, responsible for leading the company’s RiverSource Insurance and Annuities businesses as well as its strategic and business development initiatives.

Within insurance and annuities, Woerner oversees a comprehensive lineup of product solutions that help clients more confidently achieve their goals by growing their assets, generating retirement income and protecting their wealth. As chief strategy officer, he leads the development and implementation of strategic programs designed to grow the business and increase market share for the company.

Prior to joining Ameriprise in 2005, Woerner was with McKinsey and Company, where he was a leader of its North American Asset Management, Brokerage and Wealth Management practice. Woerner was at McKinsey for 10 years and was elected partner in 2000. While at McKinsey, he developed strategies to help a broad range of leading financial services firms overcome challenges and pursue opportunities in the market. He was successful in helping clients enter new markets, build capabilities, accelerate growth and improve performance. He began his career at Goldman Sachs as a financial analyst.

Woerner holds a bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University and a master's of business administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is the vice chairman of the National Endowment for Financial Education board.

Dianne Neal Blixt

Dianne Neal Blixt served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Reynolds American Inc. from 2004 until her retirement in 2007. She has been a director of Lorillard, Inc. since January 2011. Ms. Blixt previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Holdings, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Reynolds American Inc., (2003 – 2004) and also served in various roles of increasing responsibility with Reynolds American Inc. and its subsidiaries since 1988. Ms. Blixt previously served on the board of directors of LandAmerica Financial Group, Inc. and Metavante Technologies, Inc. and is also the chair person for the board of trustees for the Reynolda House Museum of American Art.

Amy DiGeso

Amy DiGeso was most recently an Executive Vice President, Global Human Resources, at The Estee Lauder Companies Inc., one of the world’s leading manufacturers and marketers of quality skin care, makeup, fragrance and hair care products. Ms. DiGeso retired from her position in 2013 and will remain with the Company as Executive Vice President, Senior Advisor to William P. Lauder, Executive Chairman and Fabrizio Freda, President and Chief Executive Officer through June 2014. Prior to rejoining The Estée Lauder Companies in 2005, Ms. DiGeso was Managing Partner, Human Capital, responsible for global human resources at PricewaterhouseCoopers, a worldwide professional services firm with over 125,000 employees in 142 countries. She has also served as President of Popular Club, a direct marketing/sales subsidiary of Macy’s, Inc., and held a number of executive management positions at Mary Kay Inc., including that of Chief Executive Officer. Earlier in her career she held positions of increasing responsibility at Bankers Trust Company, the American Express Company and Olivetti Corporation of America. She worked previously at The Estée Lauder Companies as Executive Director of Human Resources. Ms. DiGeso is a Pennsylvania State University Alumni Fellow. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State and an MBA from Fordham University.

Lon R. Greenberg

Lon R. Greenberg is Chairman and former Chief Executive Officer of UGI Corporation, a distributor and marketer of energy products and services including propane, butane, natural gas and electricity. Mr. Greenberg joined UGI in 1980 and held various positions until he became CEO in 1995, a position he held through April 2013. Mr. Greenberg is also Chairman of AmeriGas Propane, Inc. Prior to joining UGI, Mr. Greenberg received his B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and continued his education at Villanova Law School and the Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program. After clerking for the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, he joined the law firm of Morgan Lewis. Mr. Greenberg also serves on the boards of directors of: AmerisourceBergen Corporation; Aqua America, Inc.; Temple University and Temple University Health System (he currently serves as Chairman; United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southeastern New Jersey (currently serves as its Treasurer and Chairman). Mr. Greenberg is a former Chairman of the World LP Gas Association and currently serves as a member of its Board of Directors.

Siri S. Marshall

Siri S. Marshall served as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary and chief governance and compliance officer at General Mills, Inc., having retired from those positions in 2008. Prior to joining General Mills in 1994, Ms. Marshall was senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of Avon Products, Inc. Ms. Marshall is also a director of Equifax, Inc., Alphatec Holdings, Inc., and the Yale Center for the Study of Corporate Law. She has served as a director of NovaCare, Inc., Jafra Cosmetics International, Snack Ventures Europe, BioHorizons, Inc. and the American Arbitration Association. She has also served as a member of The New York Stock Exchange Legal Advisory Committee. Ms. Marshall was the recipient of the Sandra Day O’Connor Board Excellence Award in 2011.

Jeffrey Noddle

Jeffrey Noddle served as chairman of the board of directors of SUPERVALU INC. from 2002 until he retired in 2010. Prior to that time, Mr. Noddle held a number of other leadership positions at SUPERVALU, including chief executive officer (2001-2010), president and chief operating officer (2000-2001), corporate executive vice president and president and chief operating officer of SUPERVALU’s distribution food companies, corporate vice president — merchandising and president of the company’s Fargo and former Miami divisions. Mr. Noddle serves as a member of the boards of directors of The Clorox Company and Donaldson Company, Inc. He is also a former chairman of the Food Marketing Institute.

H. Jay Sarles

H. Jay Sarles is retired, having most recently served as vice chairman of Bank of America Corporation. Prior to that, he served as vice chairman and chief administrative officer of FleetBoston Financial with responsibility for administrative functions, risk management, technology and operations, treasury services, corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions. During his 37 years at Fleet, Mr. Sarles oversaw virtually all of Fleet’s businesses at one time or another, including the company’s wholesale banking businesses from 2001 to 2003. These included commercial finance, real estate finance, capital markets, global services, industry banking, middle market and large corporate lending, small business services and investment banking businesses. Mr. Sarles is also a member of the boards of directors of AvalonBay Communities, Inc. and ConnectEDU.

Robert F. Sharpe Jr.

Robert F. Sharpe, Jr. retired in November 2010, having most recently served as a senior advisor to ConAgra Foods, Inc. Previous to that role, he had served in a variety of senior positions since he started with ConAgra in 2005, including President of Commercial Foods (2008-2010) and Chief Administrative Officer (2005-2009). From 2002 until joining ConAgra, Mr. Sharpe was a partner at the Brunswick Group LLC, an international financial public relations firm. Prior to that, he served as senior vice president — public affairs, secretary and general counsel for PepsiCo, Inc. (1998 to 2002). Previously, Mr. Sharpe was senior vice president and general counsel for RJR Nabisco, Inc. Mr. Sharpe is a member of the board of directors of Swedish Match AB.

Christopher J. Williams

Mr. Williams is chairman, chief executive officer and founder of The Williams Capital Group, L.P., a financial services firm that provides equity, fixed income, corporate finance and financial advisory related services to corporate, governmental and municipal investors. He established the firm in 1994 after working in fixed income and trading positions at Lehman Brothers and Jefferies & Company. Mr. Williams serves as a director for the Clorox Company, Caesar’s Entertainment Corporation and Cox Enterprises. He is also Chairman of The Board of Overseers for the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and serves on the board of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Mr. Williams holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Howard University and a Masters in Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
